Special Requirements
WELDING
- Welding processes GMAW, FCAW and Low-Hydrogen MMAW must be used to ensure strength is retained in the joints and the GEWI Bar material.
- Hydrogen controlled electrodes must also be used.
- Matching strength W55x (E55x) or W62x (E62x) type consumables must be used in all load-bearing butt welds.
- Interpass welding temperature must remain below 200°C
