Black Diamond Drilling Services Australia Pty Ltd is pleased to announce the award of the “Iron Bridge Project – Supply of Drilling Consumables and Associated Onsite Services” contract for a term of 60 months.
The Iron Bridge project is a joint venture between Fortescue subsidiary FMG Iron Bridge and Formosa Steel IB, located approximately 145km south of Port Hedland in the Pilbara, Western Australia.
The IB Project is anticipated to deliver 22 million tonnes a year of high-grade iron magnetite concentrate product, with first ore on ship scheduled for mid-2022.
The award of this contract is recognition of BD Drill’s expertise and years of valuable knowledge to be able to deliver onsite services and supply of drilling consumables to the IB Project.
