Dual Wall Reverse Circulation Tricone Rotary System
High-pressure air is directed down the annular space between the inner and outer pipes, carrying cuttings upward through the inner tube. The top head drive rotates the entire drill string, including the tricone roller bit. The diagram below illustrates the various components of the Dual-Wall RC rotary system and the airflow circulation within the pipe.
