Covid-19 Update 10 June 2022

The Western Australian Government has announced that some Covid-19 public health and social measures are being phased out based on the latest health advice.

From Friday, 10 June 2022, WA’s mandatory vaccination policy will be updated and will only apply to workforces working with the most vulnerable, including healthcare and health support workers in hospital and primary health care settings, workers in residential aged care and workers in residential disability settings.

The mandated vaccine requirements in place on other workforces will be removed from Friday, 10 June 2022. This means that employees, contractors and visitors to Black Diamond Drilling facilities in Western Australia will no longer have to be vaccinated against Covid-19.

While restrictions on accessing remote Aboriginal communities have lifted, some communities may still decide to enforce their own restrictions on people entering.

Check the Remote Aboriginal communities travel page for more information.

If you experience any COVID-19 symptoms, please get tested immediately and follow the relevant testing and isolation guide.

We would like to thank everyone for their co-operation in this difficult time and appreciate the work we have all done together to reduce the number of hospitilisations, serious illness' and deaths from Covid-19.
